Automatic bandage winder

Automatic bandage winder has 2,3 or 4 outlets, each of them can work with a different bandage width. There is a possibility of selective disconnecting of individual outlets.

The machine is equipped with:

  1. microprocessor control system
  2. electronic drive control system with an inverter
  3. pneumatic operating systems

The following tasks are fully automatic:

  • initial trapping of the bandage end
  • stopping of the process when a programmed bandage length is wound
  • cutting of the bandage
  • slipping the bandage roll off the spindle
  • transfer of the bandage roll into a container

Operating the machine means only putting bandage into winding spindles and collecting the containers loaded with produced bandage rolls.

Control systems guarantee:

  • stopping of the machine in case of lack of the bandage in the outlets
  • stopping of the machine when a programmed number of rolls is wound
  • stopping of the machine in case of a pressure drop below the value required by the pneumatic system

The design of the machine guarantees:

  • high productivity
  • the same length of the wound bandage in all of the outlets
  • winding of the bandage from 50 up to 200mm wide

Use of the device
The machine is used for winding elastic and non-elastic bandage into bandage rolls of a precisely measured length, used in trade practices. The machine can rewind bandage from the bobbins, diameter of which is up to 500mm.
