The standard designed machine posesses three spindles. The machine drive covers all the spindles together, which makes it possible to wind the same raw material on all the five spindles. By changing the toothed wheels, a precise winding net structure for various raw material count (gauge) can be attained.
The machine is equipped with the following control elements:
- electronic programmable raw-material length meter
- raw-material shortage detector
- raw-material stretchers
The programmable meter performs measurements of raw material being wound on one spindle. Once a programmed length has been reached, the drive is disconnected and all the spindles are stopped. The currently wound up raw material length is shown on the meter display. In order that beams could be easily taken off the spindles, the hand-lever operated flip-off mechanism is applied.
Use of the device
The bobbin-free thread-guide winder PWB-11 is designed to rewind polyamide monofilament, viscose and alike on bobbin-free beams with precise winding net structure. Such beams can be used for manufacturing various wreathes and adornments.
