Micro-cutter for slivers

The micro-cutter is provided with the following equipment:

  • feeding beam holder with the powder brake enabling adjustment of tension in the tape under cutting
  • oiling rollers that wet the tape with oil, thus lubricating the cutting device knives
  • measurement roller that measures the tape under cutting with accuracy of 1 m
  • cutting device where the tape is cut into strips by means of circular knives
  • take-up rollers that serve to take up the ready cut strips from the cutting device
  • ionizer that serves to neutralize electric charges on the ready cut strips

Furthermore, the machine can be equipped with lamella sensors that make the cutter and the co-operating machine stop in case one of the strips under cutting breaks.

Use of the device
The machine is designed to cut polypropylene and polyester ribbon into narrow tapes. The machine is prepared to operate together with multi-point ribbon winder WNT-03 where the ready cut tapes are wound up to disk bobbins.
