It is possible in the semi-automatic process to separate occurring stages from forming of the pompom:

1. manual arranging of the winding reel binding threads in the groove
2. automatic winding of the determined number of coils yarns on the reel prepared previously
3. wound round the automatic intersection on the reel yarns along with dragging the binding thread
4. manual cutting of the binding thread and removing the ready pompom

The electronic meter of coils was applied to the machine yarns wound on the reel what is guaranteeing dimensional repeatability of produced pompoms. Were foreseen also preliminary moisturizing of the cotton binding thread whom he is purposing more precise belting of cut fibers after drying, but the same bigger life of the product.

Occurring buttons were put on the control panel:

• START WINDING – causing the launch of the process of winding of the determined number of coils yarns on the reel
• START CUTTING – pair of buttons whom, it is possible from the security consideration 'with' to squeeze only on two hands - is running the revolving knife of the intersection wound yarns on the reel
• CUTTING SPEED SWITCH – when "0" - the knife is being pulled out slowly (recommended for large pompon production), when "1" the knife is being pulled out and pulled in quickly (recommended for small pompon production)
• FUNCTION OF KNIFE SHARPENING

In the back side of the machine, a special stand for yarn packages, envisaged for 6 or 8 bobbins, has been placed.
