The machine is fed with yarn from big cross-cone structured or cylindrical beams. The string twister operation covers at the same time twisting the single yarns and laying the final string. In the first stage, the yarn is simultaneously wound up on three take-off disk bobbins seated on the twister. In the second stage, the yarn is twisted and the string is laid finally at the same time. The laid string is then wound up on metallic disk bobbins. Owing to the machine drives equipped with inverters, clutches, powder brake and sensors, the machine operational parameters can be easily changed and the correct machine operation can be ensured.
